The Van Peer design team sources only FSC certified woods and can also provide reclaimed wood for structural, architectural, or interior design fabrication.

Van Peer interiors are built to last, and last...and last. They are the antiques of the future. They will never need replacement resulting from wear and use. After many years of use they can be refinished to the original condition. The solid wood fabrication assures many many years of enjoyment. Their timeless design is insurance against becoming dated.

The wood used in the Monolith fabrication method is almost 100% reusable. The raw material is not reduced to unusable scrap as in many commercial fabrication methods because the wood remains in a large format. If ever a piece were no longer needed it can be re-used or the material can be recycled. It is the reclaimed wood of the future.

			FSC-Certified Wood All Van Peer fabrication steps adhere to the local Air Quality Management Division guidelines. Our pieces are made in California and the AQMD regulations are some of the strictest in the nation regarding glues and stains. All our finishes are extremely low VOC and many are water-based. Our lumber yards, shop, finishing facilities and transport are all centrally located to reduce the energy use involved in production. This proximity reduces energy consumption.
