| The client asked for a solid mahogany kitchen with clean lines, an island which would serve both as a bar and a breakfast area and most importantly flat-panel solid-wood doors without frames He did not want anything to interrupt the lines of the cabinets or the wood grains. The client wanted to feel weight and stability when he opened the doors of his kitchen. There were very definite wishes attached to every aspect of the kitchen.
Fortunately our suppliers had received a shipment of some of the widest continuous-grain African mahogany available and as usual we were notified and given first selection of incredibly beautiful pieces which were used to clad the entire island in solid wood. Continuous ribbon grain African mahogany was used everywhere else in this kitchen.
